Nick Tolley – Artist

Nick Tolley is a UK-born artist brought up in the historic cathedral city of Worcester, surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Malverns and the medieval city of Worcester. Nick started drawing from a young age and nurtured his love of drawing as he grew up continuing to draw anything asked of or anything that caught his eye. Throughout his life Nick has drawn for pleasure and for commissions, recently moving into painting in acrylics, although his true love remains with pencil. After visiting Canada in 2004/5 Nick fell in love with the country and began the process of immigration. In early 2008 Nick moved to Burlington, Ontario in  Canada and hopes that this will give more scope to his art. Nick’s particular love is of animals and especially dogs. Nick’s work is exceptional: his attention to detail shows him to be a master of his art, his sense of and ‘feel’ for his animal-subject is touching, and his tenacity at perfecting his drawing skill is an inspiration – he makes me want to be a better artist.
