Dhe Tsang Monastery, East Tibet - Interpretive rendering
“All who have helped me: sometimes with advice, sometimes with information, sometimes with no more than a friendly nod or smile. They are too many to be named, and indeed some are unknown, anonymous fellow-walkers who pass the time of day and are gone. I must thank … a few special friends who would not ask for identification here, for making the way easier for me to travel. It has been a long and lonely way, but I have trodden it increasingly aware of the goodwill and encouragement of many kind people … And now … I have come to the end of it and my final task, a difficult one, is to find words adequate to express my appreciation to everybody who has helped. The least I can do, is to acknowledge my debt by this dedication.” - Alfred Wainwright MBE, Wilderness Walker and Artist (1913-1991)

Beautiful artwork – would love to see more. Great easy website to navigate.
Many thanks Nick. Praise from you; a Master of Pencil-Drawing is high praise indeed! I shall try to post more sketches and undertake more paintings as time goes by. Kindest regards from Meath
Meath, I did not know that you are a talented artist as well. Wow! Nice work. Great to see all this. Would love to see more as well.
Dandapani, it’s great to have your encouragement. These are just field-trip sketches really, but I love to do them, and, as you urge, I’ll get cracking with more as time becomes available. I just wish I had the talent for keeping the pictures in a proper order in this page! Anyway, thanks for your comment: much appreciated.
Dr Meath,.Excellent art piece. You must be an artist!
Hi Raj! Many thanks for that comment. I am still learning and way short of being satisfied I even know what I’m doing. But lovely to hear from you. Hope to see you and the family in Perth soon. OM shantih!
