Meath Conlan is a counsellor and spiritual director in private practice whose previous assignments included a rural ministry in Australia. He has represented the Holy See’s Secretariat for Non-Christian Religions to the People’s Republic of China (1977-81), and, at the invitation of His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama, lectured on Christian Spirituality to Tibetan Buddhist monks and nuns in the Himalayas (1988-90). In addition to his publications and retreat / workshop ministry, and his small-group tours to places of cultural and spiritual diversity, Dr. Conlan is an avid reader of philosophy and ancient and modern history, and paints in watercolours and pastels.
