Cost:

(When posted, is based on inland transport & accommodation with all breakfasts and some meals. All meals at ashrams are included. All Gov’t Taxes and tips are included. A minimum of six persons per Tour is usually required. If the minimum number is not reached by the “Close of Bookings” date (please check what date this will be for your particular tour), the tour is cancelled and (a) all deposits are returned on that date, or (b) applicants given the choice of transferring to another tour in the same season.

Participants will find their own way to and from India. Diverse Journeys can help with hotels, flights, etc. if you wish to come early or remain longer.

Tour Itinerary & Fee

The Fee as published, does not include international airfare; meals other than those listed; meal tips; alcoholic beverages; individually arranged side trips; passport and visa fees; medical, accident, cancellation and baggage insurance; personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls.

Registration

To reserve a place on any of the published dates, complete the registration form and return with a deposit of AUD$500 per person. After registering you will receive an extensive information pack, ‘Before the Journey’ as to what you need to know, and bring or not bring. Please register early so as to ensure your place.

Payment Schedule

AUD$500 deposit at registration.

The remainder to be sent three months before your tour date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If, having sent your remaining fee, you cancel 2-3 months before your tour, all but AUD$250 of the total fee is refundable. No refund will be given if you cancel 1-44 days before your trip begins, or if you do not show up. * Diverse Journeys strongly recommends purchasing trip cancellation insurance to cover losses should you have to cancel for any reason. * Note: All payments (inc. deposit) will be returned if Diverse Journeys cancels the trip.

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS:

• It is now an immigration requirement that your travel agent advises your airline of your passport details
• Your passport must have at least 6 months (180 days) validity from the date you return to your country of origin. You will be denied boarding if your passport is due to expire within the 6 months.
• At time of booking your ticket, please take your passport to your travel agent so it can be photocopied and checked for name, validity, and any visa requirements.

VISAS:

• Travellers must check with the Indian Consulate in their own country as different rules and rates apply. All travellers are responsible for applying for a TOURIST VISA to India from the Indian Consulate / Embassy or High Commission in their own country.
